Revamp of Ducktales 2017

According to Nerdist.com Disney XD announced that Duck Tales the animated series is scheduled to be revamped in 2017 along with all of the original characters.

The original series, which ran from 1987 to 1990 followed the adventures of Scrooge McDuck and his 3 nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie as well as Launchpad Mcquack, Scrooges fumbling pilot, and many other colorful yet lovable characters that were woven in and out of the series.  Let's hope that the very much loved original series can be rebooted for the new generation of fans while holding fast to the essence of the show which made it great and not be just another failed upgrade and stain on the fabric of our much loved childhood television shows.  I for one hope that they stick to the old style 2D animation and do not try to computer animate the new series or try to make it 3D.  One example that I recall where one of my favorite shows was revamped in 3D was with the Garfield Show that was launched in 2008. It just did not have the same feel to it and seemed poorer quality and more childish than the much loved Garfield and Friends series of the 90's.

Another much loved 90's cartoon series that was recently revamped was Alvin and the Chipmunks which was rebooted in  2015 as Alvinn!!! and the chipmunks.  The show kept the same theme song as the 90's series and has very much kept the feel of the 90's cartoon series as well as plots that still appeal to fans of the earlier series while utilizing 3D computer animation.   The only thing that was off-putting as far as I was concerned was the way that the animators tried to make the chipmunks look like real chipmunks but their faces and hair color were at an uncomfortable contrast of brown hair and pasty white (or caucasian) faces.

Lets hope the ducks' appearance don't end up like that.
All in all, I am very much looking forward to the Duck Tales revamp and seeing Scrooge McDuck on live TV once again.

So what are your thoughts?

Google Doodle Ludwig Van Beethoven

Google has come up with another interesting and educational game in the form of their ever popular doodles for December 16-17 2015.  I really like this one. It places you in a narrative of sorts where different pieces of Beethoven's music gets mixed up and you have to put the pieces back together. The game concept is quite innovative. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Check it out here or search google doodles beethoven 245th

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Trailer is Out!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Trailer (2016) from Paramount Pictures is out today and I am very excited about it.  I was very impressed with the plot and treatment of the turtles in the first movie in this series that came out in 2014.  I have been a long time fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since they first appeared in comic books and in the 90's cartoon series as well as the 90's movie trilogy.  Recent revamps of the turtles in the 2000's did not really excite me because the animation style and  feel of the series and movies changed to what seemed like a more simplistic and Japanese art style that most animated TV shows seemed to transition to at the turn of the millennium and was different than the style that I grew to love in the 90's. The smiling faces became rigid and the eyes be came white slants.  Even though they took on a more realistic image the whimsical and human feel of turtles was not there for me.  At any rate I am very glad to see a new series of turtle movies that I like very much and seems stay true to the turtles story and feel that made me grow to love them  while at the same time provide a since of nostalgia and also add some new dynamics with the help of CGI (Computer Generated Imagery). With the addition of Rock Steady and Bebop as well as the possibilities of Krang and Dimension X this movie holds many wonderful possibilities that have been long over due in the movie series.  I am so Siked!!!

How to Include Your Pet in the Ugly Sweater Contest

Your pet will look pretty snazzy in one of these ugly sweaters that I saw in Wal-Mart.  What will they come up with next?  Pet costumes are becoming more and more elaborate these days.  I really like these creative designs. One of these will really get your four legged family member into the holiday spirit or at least provide a nice photo op.  Anyway, Thanks for reading. I hope you like these as much as i did.

How to disconnect your Google account from Google Chrome Browser

If you are like me then you value more and more your online security. In this world of ever increasing connectivity of the online world with many social networks wanting to integrate with each other and other third party websites it is easy to get swept up in just going along.  Especially when Third party web sites give you the option of signing in with your social network user name and password.  I for one prefer to keep most of my online endeavors separate from each other.  I especially try to keep my social networking accounts set apart from any of my other online dealings because I feel that too much of our personal information is already out on the internet and doing so makes identity theft less likely and more compacted.

Ok. So that being said, I did not appreciate installing Google Chrome browser and finding that my Google email account was connected to the browser itself.  I can understand Google wanting to provide  the user with a unique way to personalize the browser.  However I do find this feature a bit intrusive considering how well reaching Google has become as they have their irons in many different fires. To my knowledge this feature was activated automatically and there was not an option to just "sign out" of the account as in most cases.

Below is an image of how the browser window appears: (Click on the images to make them larger)

Here you see where your email address or Google ID is displayed.

Let's get started.

1. Left click on the "menu button" to the right of the address bar.

2. Left click "Settings" on the drop down window.

3.  Click the "Disconnect your Google Account.." button under Sign in settings.

4.  Left click "Switch person".

5.  Left click "Remove this person".

6.  Left click the red "Remove this person" button.

7.  Left click "No thanks"

Now you should be able to browse freely without worrying about your account being connected to your browsing history.

I hope this tutorial was helpful to you. Thank you very much for reading.  Please feel free to comment, rate and subscribe.
